Hard Slog!

Today has started off brilliantly as I just received an email to let me know that I have eventually passed ‘Module 1’ of my Level 3 CAVA qualification! This is proving to be one of the most challenging courses I have done to date. To be frank am having to dig deep to complete. Things have changed dramatically in the examination world, I am discovering due to the step up in AI within our world.

The bar has definitely been raised- students are not only required to show knowledge but also adaptability and problem-solving in real time. There is a lot of pressure to demonstrate transparency and responsible use of on line materials, which wasn’t the case 5 years ago.

Expectations are higher now because AI has raised the minimum standard. Where once producing correct, well-written, or well-researched work was enough, institutions now expect deeper critical engagement, originality, and responsible use of AI tools.

Still 40% to go but feel like I’ve broken the back of my work now. My original goal (that I set myself) has had to shift and is now more realistic. Looking to complete early next year. With the Business going from strength to strength and me being the sole provider- wearing all the hats- I need to learn to pace myself and enjoy the process abit more!
