Hello April!

For those not on FB here’s a few photos of Mypilatesflow Social at Miller & Carter on Friday 13th March. A wonderful night with clients from public Didcot classes! Great to share time together as always outside of the Pilates setting. Looking forward already to the end of Term Social in July!

Class Update

The system has now been updated to the end of July for all Subscribers. Just to note that when Subscribers receive their block bookings the price displayed shows the PAY AS YOU GO PRICE not the reduced fee. This is not an error but due to a technicality with my current booking system not being linked to SquareUp. Apologies to those that were not aware of this! Delighted that numbers remain high across all classes for Classic Mat- thank you for your continued support!

There are a few spaces remaining for Wednesday evening at Fleet Meadow and these can be booked on line via my website.

The Studio is still fully booked for Mondays/Tuesdays and Thursdays by long standing regular clients. If you wish to join the Waiting List then please drop me a line for either Reformer/Tower or Circuit Training.

Very much looking forward to holding my 3rd Retreat in Plymouth at the end of the month! Still a couple of spaces left- not too late to join…

Dates for the Diary

Due to long standing pre planned events- I am unable to take the Wednesday Evening Class on 20th May and 27th May. All Subscribers have been given the option to transfer on these weeks to the Thursday class or have their Subscriptions paused. I am unable to offer a class on the morning of 27th either for Wednesday Didcot session. Pilates for both Studio classes (121s) and Edmonds Park Pavilion will not take place on Thursday 28th May.

Foot Work Exercises

As you know we always start our sessions together with a few foot and toe exercises. Strong and well grounded feet are paramount for both our alignment as well to encourage successful balance work. I have copied these exercises from my Pilates social media feed so not my own but I really feel they could be beneficial to our small Pilates community. You will need two foam blocks to do but these are reasonably priced on Amazon or can often be found in our local Didcot TKMaxx store! Hope you have as much fun as I have doing these…

For those of you that haven’t heard of the Zen master Henry shukman, here he is being interviewed on the ‘Know Thyself podcast’! He has created the wonderful APP call ‘The Way’. I’ve subscribed to this APP over the last two months and do it daily (15 mins a day). It truly is a great way to get into meditation due to the structure of the APP, not giving any choice- it literally takes you through a systematic journey day by day. It has really helped my nervous system relax and is something that is not a chore but a treat- giving you permission to just be still and contemplate within… I hope you enjoy!
